Inti Zlobec is Professor of Digital Pathology at the Institute of Tissue Medicine and Pathology, and Director of the Department of Digital Medicine (DDM), at the University of Bern in Switzerland. She leads an interdisciplinary research group focusing on imaging and artificial intelligence applications in pathology. Her interdisciplinary group, composed of scientists and students from both technical and bio/medical domains builds tools for diagnostic clinical use in close collaboration with pathologists and oncologists, and leverages cutting edge technologies to gain novel insights into the biology of colorectal cancer. She is an advocate for diversity in AI in Medicine. Inti Zlobec holds several additional positions such as the Chair of the European Society of Pathology WG for Digital & Computational Pathology from 2021-2025, Founder and President of the Swiss Digital Pathology Consortium (SDiPath), and a Board Member of the European Society for Digital & Computational Pathology (ESDIP).
